Long before I became a UX designer, I was designing logos and building websites for the bands I played in. My school notebooks were filled with sketches instead of notes, and after a conversation with my guidance counselor, I enrolled in a graphic design program where I discovered this wasn’t just a hobby—it was the career I wanted to pursue.
That curiosity still shapes how I approach design today. Before I think about interfaces, I want to understand the problem, how people work, and why something isn’t working. Asking the hard questions, collaborating across teams, and validating ideas with real users are the parts of the process I enjoy most.
I’ve learned that great design isn’t measured by how polished it looks—it’s measured by how well it works. The best products come from listening, testing, and being willing to change direction when the evidence points somewhere new.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my wife and daughter, tackling a woodworking project, training for a race, or planning our next family adventure. Building things—whether it’s products, furniture, or memories—is what keeps me inspired.
I’m looking to be part of a team that treats design as a strategic partner, values collaboration, and believes the best solutions come from understanding users—not assumptions. If my work resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
